4 Are you controlling your future?

About 2 years ago, I did not have a clue what I was doing 2 weeks out from my present day. I did not ever create short, intermediate, and long-term goals for myself. I just kind of "went with the flow" of things, and I thought thats how it should be. Boy, was I wrong. Now whenever I look back on who I was years ago, I see that I was just treading water. I was moving nowhere fast and probably taking more steps backwards than I was forward..

That is when I thankfully stumbled upon the law of attraction. I looked up a definition for you so I don't spend the next two hours typing, describing what the law of attraction is to me. The Law of Attraction is, New Thought philosophy, it is used to sum up the idea that by focusing on positive or negative thoughts a person brings positive or negative experiences into their life. Now you are probably saying to yourself right now, "how can you control the future with just thoughts?" Well, do not worry, I am here to  help you grasp that!

To the Law of Attraction, we are all on the same playing field, and once you begin your forward thinking you become the true controller of your future. I'll give you a few examples. Have you ever noticed that you always catch 11:11 on the clock, or phone? But I bet you, that you cant tell me when the last time you looked at the clock and it said 7:17. OR when you start thinking of a car that you really want, and you start seeing it everywhere you go on the road? It is because you are unconsciously beginning to think of that event, or item that you want so your conscious brain begins to actually look for it for you, without you actually "trying" too! Crazy, huh?

Well how can we harness this and actually use it to our advantage? Focused meditation and having a vision of "what" we want, rather than, "how" we are going to get it. If you begin to start setting a goal of what you actually want in the future, and when I mean setting a goal, I am talking about a descriptive one, you will begin to allow the universe to set things up for you to reach those goals. For example, you can set a goal of "more income from work" or you can set a descriptive focused goal of "the director position, in your next promotion evaluation." See the difference?

Now when you begin that focused meditation, begin to think and believe that you are already in that position, you are already in that new office, your bank account is begin to reflect one of who has a income at that position, and trick your body into believing that this event has already occurred! Do this everyday if possible. Set 5-10 minutes in the morning before you start anything and just practice your focused meditation on what you really want in life, and watch as it begins to appear in-front of you. Now this isn't going to be overnight, or in a matter of weeks. It may take months or even a year(s) but as long as you start to focus and really believe it, then it will happen. You can trust me on that.
